The Spirit of Kalamazoo

The Spirit of Kalamazoo is a destination in Downtown Kalamazoo, offering delicious Plainwell Ice Cream AND t-shirts, hoodies, baseball caps, and trinkets that represent the city of Kalamazoo, WMU, K-College, MSU & U of M. The store was established in September 2011 by Andrew and Kathleen Widner. The 1,000 square-foot space also boasts 600 square feet of patio next to the parking ramp on Portage Street. “The patio is a great place to visit with friends and family while enjoying your ice cream,” said the Widners.
