CuLove Designs

CuLove Designs began as “Copper Amazon Jewelry” in November of 2012, an unexpected muse-driven midlife creative burst. I had never before worked with my hands! I’m a former broadcast journalist, radio news anchor, 1970s rock-n-roll DJ, an itinerant storyteller,wordsmith and a published professional writer. My jewelry designs primarily feature Copper, Amazonite and other semiprecious gemstones. Metalsmithing, hand hammering, assemblage and reusing old copper are an integral part of my evolving creative process, including upcycling vintage copper jewelry findings into new creations. I place particular emphasis on Nature motifs and timeless designs.

My work is showcased at SW Michigan artisan shows, on my Facebook gallery page, and in my Etsy shop. I’m a native Michigander, growing up in the heart of Iron and Copper country in the Upper Peninsula, now based in Kalamazoo.  ~Patrice/CuLove Designs
