400: An Afrikan Epic

Critically acclaimed composer, drummer, and educator Dr. Mark Lomax, II, musically transports listeners from pre-colonial Afrika, through the Ma’afa (the 400 years between 1619 and 2019), and into Afro-futurism expressing a vision of a healthy, high functioning, and united bloc of the African diaspora.

ADMISSION INFO

The 75-minute no-intermission performance begins promptly at 7:30 p.m. Tickets: $15 (Seniors $12, Students $5) in advance at Miller Auditorium or at the door prior to the performance.  Each event starts with a pre-concert talk hosted by Dr. Robert White at 7 p.m. Information about concerts can be obtained by calling (269) 387-4678.
