Monologue Competition

All are welcome to compete with the exception of the competition’s panel members (see About the Panel to meet our panel members). There are no age restrictions – all ages are welcome. Whether you’re right here in Kalamazoo or across the world, the competition’s virtual format allows for anyone to show off what they got!

The competition is divided into two categories: Emerging Actors and Established Actors. Emerging Actors are those without professional or educational training in acting and/or have no professional acting credits. Established Actors are those with professional or educational trainingand/or have professional acting credits.

In this competition, your donation to Face Off Theatre Company is your vote. $1 = 1 vote. You can vote as many times as you’d like, for whoever you want, with whatever amount you’d like!

All donation amounts will be tallied after voting closes on Monday, December 11th at 11:59pm and the winner will be announced at our 2024 Season Announcement!

The grand prize winner will receive $100.00 cash prize, and the runner-up will receive $50.00 cash prize.
