The first Kalamazoo Film Society film in June, LATE NIGHT, begins on Friday, June 14 at Celebration Crossroads. Directed by Nisha Ganatra, it stars Mindy Kaling and Emma Thompson in a feel-good comedy about what happens when an all-white, all-male comedy writing staff hires its first woman of color. It is Kaling’s screenwriting debut and was inspired by her experiences writing for Conan O’Brien.
