Known especially for his superb interpretations of Rachmaninoff, Nikolai Lugansky brings one of the most exciting programs of the Festival to Dalton Recital Hall performing Rachmaninoff’s Thirteen Preludes, as well as the Prokofiev Fourth Sonata. Lugansky is widely recognized as one of Russia’s most spell-binding pianists who combine a vast technical arsenal with a majestic, powerful voice. This concert is dedicated to the memory of Robert Luscombe.
