Adam Harris is a photographer, musician, and actor doing business as Adam Harris Arts LLC. Based in Portage, Adam has been involved in music since a very young age, having performed in multiple ensembles, including the Kalamazoo Junior Symphony Orchestra and the Portage Northern High School marching and symphonic bands during his high school years, and the Albion College concert choir and Briton Singers, during his undergraduate education. When he went back to school to earn his Master of Fine Arts degree in Performing Arts Administration and WMU, he performed as a member of the Collegiate Singers and the Collegium vocal ensemble. In more recent years he has taken to playing the guitar and ukulele, and is currently taking on beginning music students for both of these instruments.
Growing up, Adam also spent a great deal of time performing in plays and musicals at church and, occasionally, in school. Beginning in college, he took the love of performing to another level becoming a member of the Theta Alpha Phi national theatre honorary, and earning an Irene Ryan nomination for the role of “Actor” in God by Woody Allen. After graduating from Albion, Adam spent many years as a company member at The New Vic Theatre. He has also performed at the Kalamazoo Civic Theatre and done a bit of voice work (something he would very much like to do more of).

Since then, he has enjoyed trying to capture the beauty of the world around us and firmly believes that you can sometimes find magical images right outside your own back door if you just take the time to stop and look closely.
