Christian Sands is an emerging jazz force. The young pianist wowed audiences at the 2012 Gilmore Festival, and he’s back with his trio for two shows at Bell’s.
Sands takes a fresh look at the entire language of jazz: stride, swing, bebop, progressive, fusion, Brazilian, and Afro-Cuban. He exemplifies the rising musicality and spiritual aspirations of a singularly gifted musical soul.
