    Playwriting Workshop with Good Enough author Cara Beth Heath, MFA

    Calling all Playwrights: Experienced, Amateur and Aspiring. You will all find gold in our playwriting workshop with "Good Enough" author Cara Beth Heath, MFA.

    About Cara Beth Heath:
    Cara Beth Heath has an MFA in Playwriting from Western Michigan University and a
    BA in Creative Writing from the College of Charleston. While in Kalamazoo for her MFA, she
    became a founding member of the Metallic Mannequin Company, an independent theatre
    group dedicated to producing locally developed art. She’s twice visited the Kennedy Center
    to study dramaturgy and once more for directing, and participated in Kalamazoo festivals
    for Theatre Kalamazoo and Activate Midwest.

    About the Workshop:
    Enjoy complimentary coffee and conversation with Cara Beth Heath, MFA and come ready for craft exercises and discussions on how to get started on a new play, how to move forward if you're stuck, what to do when you're "done" and how movement excercises liven up your work.

    Note: Cara Beth will pull exact exercises and details tailored to the attendees.

    When: Sunday March 26th 1-3 pm.
    Other Details: Registration includes complimentary coffee. Please bring water if you desire as well as writing utensils and paper. (Bring a script you're working on if you have one, your ideas, energy and imagination!)

    Admission Info:

    $12 on-line before March 26th, $15 cash/check at the door


    General Day and Time Info:

    Doors will be open at 12:45 pm, coffee and conversation with Cara Beth Heath will begin at 1 pm. The workshop will run until 3 pm. Street parking and lot parking is available. The best entrance to the venue is up the wooden staircase near the back of Park Trades parking lot.
