We are excited to announce that Read and Write Kalamazoo (RAWK) and the Kalamazoo Civic Theatre will be reuniting to host a workshop, and you\'re invited!

On December 9th, area middle and high school students will have the opportunity to participate in a one-day event where they can craft, refine, rehearse, and record a personal monologue centered around this year’s theme, Compassionate Leadership. Participants will receive support from the staff of both RAWK and The Civic as they prepare, rehearse, and record their monologues.

Their inspiring performances and release them on MLK Day 2024 on our social media platforms.

December 9th from 10:00-2:00 at the RAWK Literacy Center. Lunch will be provided.
