Concerts in the Park - Shayna Steele - PERFORMS INDOORS TODAY AT FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH

Presented by Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo at Bronson Park

SHAYNE STEELE WILL PERFORM INDOORS TODAY AT FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH AT 4 PM.  RAIN IS IN THE FORECAST, BUT THE JAZZ WILL PLAY ON! DON'T MISS THIS STELLAR PERFORMER.

“Switching between originals, r&b favorites, and jazz standards, Steele’s set was a study in contrasts and dynamics. Bill Withers’ “Grandma’s Hands” was transformed from an intimate anthem at its beginning to a near-whispered prayer. “Gone Under,” originally Steele’s collaboration with Snarky Puppy, got the seated crowd gyrating in their chairs.” – Yoshi Keto – Downbeat Magazine

Concerts in the Park returns to downtown Kalamazoo in Bronson Park this summer! Presented by the Arts Council of Kalamazoo as a part of the Summertime Live series, Concerts in the Park will run on select Sundays June through August. All nine concerts start at 4 pm (unless otherwise noted) and are free to attend.

Bronson Park is part of the downtown Commons Area, so purchase a drink and food from any downtown restaurant and enjoy it in the park!

The rain location for Concerts in the Park will be at the First Baptist Church, 315 W. Michigan Avenue. Any changes in location will be posted to the Arts Council website and social media accounts by 12 pm the day of the event.
