Carver Center

Used for the staging of our Carver Center Studio Series and our Reader’s Theatre productions, the Carver Center Studio holds up to 100 theatre enthusiasts. Located on the second floor of the Carver Center Complex, which was built in 1958, the studio is accessible via stairs or elevator. The address for the Carver Center Studio is 426 S. Park Street. Seating in the Carver Center Studio is general admission.

Enjoy a laugh and a beverage at your table with friends. Our 10′ x 16′ stage gives ample room for high energy comedy performance. The room is easily accessed off of W. Michigan Ave downtown. Visit this transformed space and enjoy top quality comedic performance.

Queer Theatre Kalamazoo

Queer Theatre Kalamazoo (QTK) produces entertainment with a positive connection to the queer community; what we call Equality Entertainment. Utilizing theatre as a catalyst for social change, we believe in the power of the performing arts to stimulate and normalize conversation of LGBTQ+ voices; through positive exposure, in a safe space for all individuals to express themselves, and be heard.

The Parish Theatre

Part of the Kalamazoo Civic Theatre’s family of performance spaces. The 175-seat Parish Theatre is adjacent to our fully equipped, 4,000 square foot scene shop. The building also houses scenery storage, facilities for laundry and costume maintenance, and a box office.

Studio B is a 40′ x 55′ dance studio with a marley covered, sprung floor and converts easily from a studio to a performance space and is used for many dance performances and presentations throughout the year, both formal and informal. All production equipment is modern and performance grade. Lighting technology includes intelligent accessories and LED equipment. It is located on the 3rd floor of the Dorothy U. Dalton Center.
