Community Box Office Manager

This brand-new position will open Kalamazoo’s first community box office. Operating through the Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo for the Tessitura Consortium in Kalamazoo, this position is responsible for the ensuring the success of the Community Box Office Project and the utilization of a single database to provide the best customer service experiences for consortium donors, patrons, clients, and staff. This position is a full-time salaried position that will be responsible to manage part-time box office staff, communicate regularly with client box office and sales staff, and provide excellent customer service directly to community patrons. Some weekend and evenings commitments are required in this position. Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant is responsible for the daily financial functions of the Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo, including but not limited to recording financial transactions, creating invoices, and tracking payroll data.   The Staff Accountant reports to the Finance Director.  This is a full-time, hourly position.  This position requires at least 32 hours of work per week with the ability to work more if necessary.

Community Box Office Associate

The Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo is looking to add a team member to the newly created Community Box Office.  The Box Office Associate is a part-time 20 hour a week position that assists patrons either in person or on the phone with their ticket-buying needs.

Theatre Technicians (various roles)

The ACGK is looking for various theatre technicians to staff rentals in the Jolliffe Theatre in the Epic Center downtown, Kalamazoo. Rentals may include meetings, rehearsals, performances, lectures, and special events (dinners, award ceremonies, etc.).

Roles range from House Manager, Stage Manager, Stage Technicians, Light Board/Video Operator, and Sound Board Operator and are hired on a per-project, contracted basis. Wages range from $15 – $20 an hour. The Jolliffe Theatre is in use approximately 250 days a year and is used during early morning, daytime, and evenings.
