Fire Arts Collaborative is a ten year old arts non-profit on the southside of Kalamazoo. At our heart, Fire focuses on youth-driven art and justice program to enhance social and emotional learning with young people ages 14-21, within in the Kydnet cohort. Creative Writing workshops, Cypher workshops, lockins, youth run Open Mics all invision with our Teen Advisory Council. You probably have heard of our intimate space through hosting the longest Open Mic in Kalamazoo, featuring emerging spoken word artists, or our new Open Mic series, Poetic Justice. All ages are welcome for safe & sober Open Mics on First and Third Fridays of the month.
