The work of Shifting Forms begins with the idea that we all have the capacity to improve the conditions of our world and our lives. The path to creating change begins with stimulating the imagination. Developing our innate ability to envision alternative possibilities is the first step toward community transformation. Under the auspices of Shifting Forms, Kevin Dodd employs the tools of theatre and other arts to create aesthetic and educational experiences that enhance personal growth and community dialogue. This work takes the form of professional development trainings for educators and youth workers, arts-based workshops for youth and adults, development of interdisciplinary performances, and cross-sector collaborations that meet the diverse needs of our partners.
