Calling all witty book lovers, artists, and foodies of all ages! KBAC joins libraries and book arts centers from around the world in this delightful (FREE) April Fool’s celebration of the art of the book! The Edible Book Festival is celebrated in over 20 countries, including Australia, Brazil, India, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Mexico, New Zealand, and Russia.

This year's Edible Book Festival will take place on Saturday, March 23 (due to the March 31 Easter weekend), at the Kalamazoo Book Arts Center (main floor in the Park Trades Center.)

Entries set up: 4:30-5:30 p.m.
Voting until 6:00 p.m.
Winners Announced at 6, Eating the books: 6:05
Come before 5:30 and 6 to make sure you see the books while they are whole and uneaten.

All entries are welcome! Separate prizes for books made primarily by children and books made exclusively by adults will be awarded. We can’t wait to see and taste what you bring in!
