Concerts in the Park - Kalamazoo Concert Band

Concerts in the Park - Kalamazoo Concert Band

at Bronson Park

The Kalamazoo Concert Band was founded in 1961 and is comprised of over 100 adults from the southwestern Michigan area. This season, the KCB’s selection of tunes will conjure images of other places and times. Perhaps they will even bring up some memories of treks taken, family times together, and tales of your own. Can you use a little “getaway”? We invite you to join us to be transported to wherever your imagination takes you through our music!

Concerts in the Park is a program of the Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo, with support from the Irving S. Gilmore Foundation and the City of Kalamazoo. It is one of Kalamazoo’s long-standing traditions offered Sundays in June, July, and August in Bronson Park delivering a unique offering, unlike any other. Each concert is free and is friendly for the entire family.  Picnic meals, blankets, or lawn chairs are encouraged.

There is not a rain site for Concerts in the Park. If inclement weather is expected the concert may be canceled by 2 pm on that same day.
