Walking Tour with Lynn Houghton

4pm-5pm | Start at the Kalamazoo Public Library's Entrance

Lynn Houghton is the Regional History Curator at the WMU Archives and Regional History Collections. She leads the Gazelle Sports Historic Walks, co-sponsored by Gazelle Sports and Discover Kalamazoo, a series of free architectural and historic walks around Kalamazoo County held during the summer and fall. She also is the co-author with Pamela Hall O'Connor of Kalamazoo Lost and Found and is a regular contributor to the Five Favorites feature found in Encore magazine. She has both a Bachelor's and Master's degree both in History from Western Michigan University and a Master's in Library and Information Science from Wayne State University.

Jeff Morrison is a historian and photographer whose first book, Guardians of Detroit: Architectural Sculpture in the Motor City, was named a Michigan Notable Book by the Library of Michigan, received a 2020 Midwest Book Award from the Midwest Independent Publishers Association, and received a 2019 State History Award from the Historical Society of Michigan.
