Composer, recording artist, conductor, and performer Rodney Lamar Page will speak about his family’s experience with the Civil Rights movement while exploring MLK’s mission and what that means for us today.
Composer, recording artist, conductor, and performer Rodney Lamar Page has a unique, energetic style that ranges from classical music to pop music. For more than 20 years Mr. Page has touched countless audiences with his passion and artistic drive for music.
The Kalamazoo Children's Chorus has invited Mr. Page to speak on his family's lived experiences with the Civil Rights movement and how we can continue to create positive change through music. KCC hosts students in grades 3-12; you can expect this event to be a positive learning environment geared toward students.
This event is hosted with support by the Arts Fund of Kalamazoo County; a program of the Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo.

This free event will be held in the sanctuary at Portage Chapel Hill Church. Before the event begins, the Kalamazoo Children's Chorus will sing a few pieces for Mr. Page starting at 6:15pm. All are welcome!
