Artwork is the gift that keeps on giving. The December 2023 Art Hop will focus on businesses, organizations, and artists that give back to the local and global community through art. Kirk Newman is an artist who shared his time, talent, and gifts with Kalamazoo and evidence of his legacy can be viewed in public art offerings and educational programs all over the greater community.

Join us on December 1, 2023 at the Westin Gallery in the Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo office for an exhibit and silent auction of works by Kirk Newman. This exhibit will include framed drawings and prints, wrapped prints, and maquettes created by Newman over his lifetime. A visit to the gallery will include the viewing of Newman’s process sketchbooks! On your way to and from the Westin Gallery please stop into the 40 Official Art Hop stops highlighting art gifts created by nearly 275 individual local artists all around our city.
