Visit during the December Art Hop and we will “give the gift of art” — in the form of new compositions created by Kalamazoo-based musicians and performers.
The KIA has partnered with Yolonda Lavender to curate an evening of creative performances inspired by Unmasking Masculinity for the 21st Century. Lavender is a singer/songwriter, as well as the founder of Soul Artistry LLC, an organization that specializes in artist development. She will be joined on stage by Daja Excel, Shaquona Espinoza, and LoudFeli, who will all debut original works inspired by, and in response to, the themes of masculinity and manhood.
