The Wizard of Oz is a classic musical that has enchanted families for generations. The Wizard of Oz has a special place in our four decades of outdoor theatre history, performed in Kindleberger Park as the second musical staged in 1986.

So once again, we’re off to see the Wizard! Audiences young and old will be charmed by its timeless score which includes one of the greatest hit songs in musical history, the Oscar-winning, “Over the Rainbow”. A story of good witches, wicked witches, munchkins, a cowardly lion in search of courage, a tin man in search of a heart, a scarecrow in search of a brain, and a young girl from Kansas in search of home. It’s a show for the entire family filled with eye-popping costumes, rib-tickling humor, and breath-taking adventure. And whether it makes new memories for Festival families or conjures up special memories from an earlier era on Scout Hill in the park, everyone will be delighted to experience or relive the whimsical and wonderful THE WIZARD OF OZ! There’s no place like Kindleberger!
