Matt Giraud is a singer/songwriter from Kalamazoo, Michigan who achieved national recognition and acclaim for his performances on the hit Fox TV show, American Idol.
Since then, Matt continues to tour all over the world and most recently has been playing with some of the biggest symphonies in the US. He has performed on stages such as The Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, The Phoenix Symphony Hall in Phoenix, for a crowd of over 9000 for the Taste of Kalamazoo in Michigan, and in 2018, 2019, and 2021 at The Stage at Kindleberger playing to king-sized audiences in Kindleberger Park!
The Kindleberger Arts is excited to welcome Matt Giraud back for his fourth engagement at The Stage in Parchment's beautiful Kindleberger Park, returning this summer as the grand finale of the 40TH ANNIVERSARY of the Kindleberger Summer Festival of the Performing Arts! Join us on Monday, July 11th and listen to the musical genius of this impressive showman. This concert is sponsored by the Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo, and an event of the Summertime Live series. Entrance to the park is at the corner of Hubbard and Park Ave. Lawn seating. All events at The Stage are FREE! No rain site for Stage performances.
