KALAMAZOO CONCERT BAND PERFORMS AT CONCERTS IN THE PARK

Sunday, June 12, 2022, 4 – 5 pm in Bronson Park, Downtown, Kalamazoo.

The Kalamazoo Concert Band (KCB) is proud to perform at Concerts in the Park, because it gives them an opportunity to bring beautiful symphonic music to the Kalamazoo community while supporting the needs of local musicians.

Their mission is twofold: Firstly, to provide a legitimate artistic expression of symphonic band music to our community as a way of enriching the cultural experiences of its residents. Secondly, to provide competent area musicians an opportunity to continue their mastery of music and their instruments through live performances.

The KCB is comprised of more than 100 adult musicians with diverse backgrounds and experiences from throughout Southwest Michigan. Musicians audition to become members and they rehearse weekly in preparation for live performances throughout the area.
