Winner of the 2019 American Pianists Association Jazz Award, American jazz pianist Emmet Cohen got his start as a three-year-old Suzuki piano student. A finalist in the 2011 Thelonious Monk International Piano Competition, he now appears regularly at major international jazz festivals and concert halls.
During the 2020 lockdown, Cohen developed “Live From Emmet’s Place,” a series of weekly performances by his trio and special guests livestreamed from his New York apartment that received millions of internet views worldwide.
