About the Musicians
From humble beginnings, Dede Alder has paved her way on her own experimental, alternative, off-the-grid musician journey of over 15 years. She has worked with world-renowned percussionists, leads the band Dede and the Dreamers, and plays many solo/duo shows as the singing percussionist.
Josh Holcomb spontaneously creates textures and sonic landscapes, transforming the acoustic five-string violin sound into an endless variety of tones. Originally from Kalamazoo, Josh studied music performance at the University of Michigan and Western Michigan University. He also studied Karnatic Music in Mysore, India, through the Vivekananda Institute for Youth Leadership.

Support for this livestream was arranged through the Kalamazoo Federation of Musicians, with a grant provided by the Music Performance Trust Fund, which is funded by Recording Companies in Canada and the United States.
