ACGK – Tyree Broadway Artist Statement and Links

As a child, Tyree would roam his childhood home and touch all the bumps and ridges on the artwork his parents had.  He didn’t know this could damage the work but as a child nonetheless, he was drawn to the texture.  He wants kids to enjoy and be drawn to his work as well.  Therefore, he incorporates many of the same things he was and is attracted to in his art.  Texture and wildlife have a prominent role in what he creates.
