Using Impasto, a very thick, blended way to paint, students will depict a view of nature from the beauty that they see around them. Working outside in the fresh air or "Plein Air, the class will use acrylic paints on canvas. Beginning and advanced artists are invited to join in and enjoy painting in this rather fast, Expressionistic / Impressionistic Style. Students should bring their own acrylic paints, brushes, and canvas. Each participant will work on an original, individual composition. The teacher will begin the class with a brief demonstration.
The suggested donation is $15.00 per class. Drop ins of all ages are welcome.
