Concerts in the Park - Kanola Band

Concerts in the Park - Kanola Band

Presented by Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo at Bronson Park

Kanola Band brings together some of the most experienced and diverse musicians in the Midwest US jazz scene to pay tribute to the great music and heritage of New Orleans. Dipping into the city's diverse musical history including traditional Dixieland, groovin' zydeco, soulful funk to blasting brass band second lines, audiences of all ages will leave feeling just a bit happier than when they came. Bring your dancing shoes, leave your worries behind and be ready for some fun, because Kanola Band is always a good time!

Concerts in the Park returns to downtown Kalamazoo in Bronson Park this summer! Presented by the Arts Council of Kalamazoo as a part of the Summertime Live series, Concerts in the Park will run on select Sundays June through August. All nine concerts start at 4 pm (unless otherwise noted) and are free to attend.

Bronson Park is part of the downtown Commons Area, so purchase a drink and food from any downtown restaurant and enjoy it in the park!

The rain location for Concerts in the Park will be at the First Baptist Church, 315 W. Michigan Avenue. Any changes in location will be posted to the Arts Council website and social media accounts by 12 pm the day of the event.
