Our popular Summer Glass Camps are back with a different and more in depth concept!
In this 2-day lampworking camp, students will explore the world of borosilicate glass with our experienced instructors. The camp will cover the basics of lampworking techniques as we learn to bend, shape, and melt glass color rods over a gas torch. Additionally, students will be introduced to the scientific concepts that have shaped modern glass making and the history of glass art and craft in America. Each camper will create 4-6 different projects including pendants and sculptural figurines.
Suitable for ages between 11-18. No previous experience necessary.
$200 per camper, includes both dates. 10% discount for GAK Members.
