West African Drum & Dance with Rootead

Saturday, October 10th, 11:00 am – 12:00 pm

On October 10th, 2020, Rootead will join RAWK for two special virtual workshops to explore and share the cultural storytelling methods of Traditional West African Drum & Dance!

You’ll learn that sharing your story doesn’t have to just mean using your words, sometimes it means speaking with your body and heart.

Students will learn the fundamentals of Traditional West African Drum & Dance through creative movement activities.

All Ages & Families Welcome, suggested for students 4th grade and up.
