6th District Congressional Art Competition

Now in its 38th year and for the first time ever the High School Area Show is going digital. The Kalamazoo Institute of Arts is thrilled to showcase these amazing juried works, even while our physical space is closed due to the Covid-19 Stay Home Stay Safe guidelines.

This show is a unique opportunity for high school students from nine counties to enter their artwork into a juried competition. Selected students had their artwork examined by college representatives, who select students to receive college scholarships.
