A panel of Venezuelan journalists and scholars will discuss the political and humanitarian crisis in Venezuela along with their perspectives of international involvement and support of the resolution of the crisis. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions of the panelists: Journalist Marielba Núñez a 2020 Knight-Wallace Fellow at the University of Michigan, Scientist Dr. Vladimiro Mujica, Chemistry Professor, School of Molecular Sciences, Arizona State University, Tulio Hernández, sociologist, journalist, author of Una Nación a la Deriva (A Nation Adrift), Center of Migration of Memory Venezuela, and Dr. Luis A. Núñez , Professor, School of Physics, Industrial University of Santander, Columbia. Brian Berheide, Director of the VCAC explains "We are fortunate to have internationally recognized panelists who can share current and thoughtful insight of the Venezuelan Crisis and provide an opportunity for dialog as we seek to understand what role the United States may play in the resolution and potential aftermath of this crisis."
