Venezuelan Cuatro phenom, Carlos Carpacho will be joined by Gregory Mulkern, the musician and songwriter of Detroit\'s Banjolectric, in a fusion of Venezuelan, jazz and modern Americana music.
Carlos is a pioneer jazz musician whose instrument of choice is the Venezuelan Cuatro, a folk instrument that resembles a downsized classical guitar with four strings. He exists at the intersection of Jazz, World Music, and his own deeply personal artistic vision.
Gregory \"continues to pedal forward with boundry-breaking banjo-centric musical innovations” - Pop Matters, 2019. Banjolectric is something new. Modern beats, fresh contemporary lyrics, and globalized songwriting delivered by undeniable boundary-breaking banjo chops: Banjolectric is \"Americana\" for the modern America.
