Rootead in Youth

Presented by Rootead at Salvation Army

Rootead in Youth Sessions is a 6 - week youth program that offers Traditional West African Drum & Dance classes on Saturdays. Through out the 6-week session, students learn more about African culture, learn traditional West African rhythms and dance, and meet new friends. They also have a showcase at the end where students will be able to present what they learned to family and friends in the community.

*Last session we focused on dance - we will integrate more cultural aspects this time!
