BEETHOVEN: Symphony No. 3, "Eroica"

Presented by Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra at Chenery Auditorium

Exploring Beethoven, the blazing revolutionary.

One of Beethoven's most powerful and important symphonies, the "Eroica" is music that breaks all the rules. We also feature Brahms's "Double" Concerto for Violin and Cello, featuring our own concertmaster and principal cellist as soloists with the orchestra.

Conductor: Julian Kuerti, KSO Music Director

We recommend attending our Wiser Financial Prelude, from 7-7:30 p.m., prior to each Symphonic Series concert. These popular talks help guide you through interesting details of the program and might even introduce the soloist.

Immediately after each Symphonic Series concert, stick around for "AfterWORDS," an interactive discussion between the conductor, soloist, and audience.
