Vera Grant, Deputy Director of Curatorial Affairs and Curator of Modern and Contemporary at the University Of Michigan Museum Of Art, will talk about her experience and curatorial practice. She is juror for our 2019 West Michigan Area Show opening May 18, and has been the director of the Ethelbert Cooper Gallery of African & African American Art at the Hutchins Center at Harvard University. Previously, she was executive director of the W.E.B. Du Bois Institute at Harvard and the associate director of the African and African American Studies Program at Stanford University.
