Carlson will coach up to five KCC voice students in an Open Student Master Class beginning at 1 p.m. in the auditorium of the Davidson Visual and Performing Arts Center, on campus at 450 North Ave. in Battle Creek. Admission to the Master Class is free.

Dr. Gerald Case-Blanchard, director of choral activities and music area coordinator at KCC, said the KCC students preselected for Carlson’s Master Class will be coached on a variety of topics, but the focus will be specific to “voice production and performance.”
