Aether Eos (Leah Asher, violin; Christopher Goddard, piano) was formed in 2017 to explore and expand the repertoire of new works for violin-piano duo, with a central mission of showcasing the restored status of the composer-performer and highlighting issues of performance practice that arise in recent scores. Aether Eos's Midwest tour in February 2019 will feature premieres of new works written for the duo by composers Chin Ting Chan, Chun Ting Pang, and Luke Carlson, alongside works by Rebecca Saunders, Leah Asher, and Eric Wubbels's monumental 2012 work, The children of fire come looking for fire.
