Learn all about some of the funding opportunities for Artists and Arts Organizations in our area. If you have a project or perhaps some professional development opportunities that you need help funding, we might be able to help.
The Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo in conjunction with the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs and ONEPLace will be conducting a grant workshop designed to illuminate the various grant programs housed at the Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo as well as funding opportunities through the State of Michigan. Additionally, we want to be able to give you some tips and tricks to ensure a well-drafted and compelling grant request, techniques for framing your budget, and what information is valuable to us when you are reporting back about your projects.
This workshop is great for first-time grant applicants but will be helpful and informative to seasoned applicants as well.
For more information contact the Arts Council at 269-342-5059
Presenters: Kristen Chesak, Executive Director of the Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo and Jeff Garrett of Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs
