Brett Perry is a dancer, farmer and music promoter working around the globe and living in Boise, Idaho. He started dancing at the age of four at The Dance Company in Indianapolis, Indiana under the direction of Diane Gudat. After graduating from The Juilliard School in 2008, Brett started his professional career with Trey McIntyre Project in Boise where he spent 6 years with the company.  After finishing up a season at Ballet BC in 2015, he is currently working as a freelance dancer with Aszure Barton and Artists, Lar Lubovitch Dance Company ,LED and Adam Weinert. He is a recipient of the prestigious Princess Grace Award for Dance 2010. When not on stage or in the studio he is working as a farmhand on Meadowlark Farm, music promoter for Treefort Music Fest and Duck Club Presents and finding ways to better his community through art, collaboration, and creative thinking.

Founder and artistic director, Aszure Barton was born and raised in Alberta, Canada. Barton has been commissioned to create new works for Mikhail Baryshnikov, Fang-Yi Sheu, The National Ballet of Canada, Sydney Dance Company, The Juilliard School, Les Ballets Jazz de Montréal, The Martha Graham Dance Company, ABT II, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, U.K. Laban Institute, among many others. She recently choreographed the Broadway production of The Threepenny Opera starring Alan Cumming, Jim Dale, Nellie Mackay, and Cyndi Lauper (a new translation by Wallace Shawn, directed by Scott Elliott). Barton received her formal training at the National Ballet School in Toronto, and also studied at The Royal Winnipeg Ballet, Alberta Ballet School, and the John Cranko School in Stuttgart, Germany. As a student, she helped originate the ongoing Stephen Godfrey Choreographic Showcase. She has performed internationally with Mikhail Baryshnikov’s Hell’s Kitchen Dance, The National Ballet of Canada, Les Ballets Jazz de Montréal and Aszure Barton & Artists. She is the recipient of numerous grants and awards from across North America and overseas, and has choreographed numerous international film projects. Barton was recently designated a Paul D. Fleck Fellow at The Banff Centre. In 2002,  Barton founded Aszure Barton & Artists as an organization dedicated to the growth of artists and production of contemporary dance performance. Barton is the Resident Choreographer for Les Ballets Jazz de Montréal and has been an Artist-in-Residence at the Baryshnikov Arts Center (BAC) since 2005. As an educator, she has taught and collaborated with notable institutions including The Juilliard School, Harvard University, The Laban Institute, New York University, among many others. In the fall of 2018, Barton will be joining the faculty as an Artist in Residence at the University of Southern California‘s Glorya Kaufman School of Dance.

Nearest parking is in the Miller Auditorium Ramp.  Visitors must park in visitor parking spots.  Meters must be paid prior to 8pm M-Th and prior to 4pm on Friday.  Saturday and Sunday are free.
