The Stulberg International String Competition and the Grand Rapids Symphony welcome 2017 Gold Medalist William McGregor (double bass) back to West Michigan for performances with the GRS under the direction of Maestro Marcelo Lehninger on Friday, February 22 at 10 am and 8 pm at the St. Cecilia Music Center. The Romantic Concert: Bella Italia! will feature his performance of Bottesini's Concerto for Double Bass, as well as Rossini's An Italian Girl in Algiers and Mendelssohn's Symphony No. 4 "Italian".
