Our 2018 Holiday Spectacular features special guests Harry and Ken, The Watters Brothers along with the WMU jazz faculty rhythm section. The concert will feature the KCB and the Watters Brothers playing seasonal classics you all know by heart.
You probably have already heard Ken and Harry Watters because they have played on songs you for sure have heard from the worlds of pop, jazz, and band. Harry Watters is a sought after trombonist who has performed with Doc Severinsen, Al Hirt, Pete Fountain, Erich Kunzel, Kevin Mahogany, Wycliffe Gordon, Lou Rawls, Maureen McGovern, Bill Watrous, and the Boston Brass. Ken Watters is an American jazz trumpeter and member of several noted performing groups, including Tabou Combo, Natalie Cole Band, the Magic City Jazz Orchestra, Ray Reach and Friends and the W. C. Handy Jazz All-Stars.
Admission is free, but requires a ticket. Contact the Miller Auditorium box office at 269-387-2300. If you prefer to be spontaneous in your attendance, we encourage you to come on concert night! There will likely be general admission seats available. Miller’s great staff will show you the way!
