Summertime Live - Barn on Fire @ Kindleberger Summer Festival

Summertime Live - Barn on Fire @ Kindleberger Summer Festival

Presented by Kindleberger Arts Alliance and Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo at The Stage at Kindleberger Park

Barn on Fire is a eclectic folk rock band from Kalamazoo, specializing in high energy, good times and feeling right at home at craft breweries.

Their sound is a mashup of the Avett Brothers, Head and the Heart, and with an obsession for songs about death, sin and redemption, would hopefully make Johnny Cash proud.

They started out writing songs and performing in bars on Saturday night and, after a few hours of sleep, church on Sunday.  They quickly found a combined love for 3 part harmonies, earnest sentiments, and driving rhythms.

They recently released their debut album, Hurt You, featuring 13 original tracks and a cover of the gospel standard "Wayfaring Stranger". In addition, they've released a remix EP of songs from Hurt You, remixed and engineered by Ben Lau aka Big China aka the Casual Pony, album produced by Kevin Romeo.
