The Kalamazoo Valley Community College Campus Band, under the direction of Conductor Christopher Garrett, presents its end of the semester concert Friday, Dec. 8 in the Dale B. Lake Auditorium at 7 p.m.
The band will be performing a variety of wind band standards along with some holiday music. Selections will include the Sousa march "Semper Fidelis," a band setting of the poem "Casey at the Bat" narrated by Fritz MacDonald, Rimsky-Korsakov's "Procession of the Nobles," Bach's "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring," and "Chanson for Christmas" based on the French song "Bring a torch, Jeanette Isabella."
This concert is free and open to the public, no tickets necessary.
