The pipe organ, the granddaddy of all musical instruments, is a complex system of pipes, blowers, and connections. Take a look inside two of downtown Kalamazoo’s greatest pipe organs (First Congregational Church and First United Methodist Church) and learn how they work from the people who play them and know them best. Each tour will accommodate only 16 people; 8 at each church for 30 minutes. The attendees start and one church for a half hour tour and will walk to the other church for the 2nd half hour tour.
