Crawlspace Eviction Improv Show: ASTR

Crawlspace Eviction Improv Show: ASTR

Presented by Crawlspace Theatre Productions at Judy K. Jolliffe Theatre (formerly Epic Theatre)

Have you ever looked up at the infinite majesty of a starry night and thought “Boy, I wish this was funnier”? Then be sure to attend Crawlspace Eviction’s March 17 & 18 shows, entitled “ASTR.”

“Unlike that pesky night sky, you won’t have to crane your neck to see us perform during our next weekend of shows,” says Dann Sytsma, director of Crawlspace Eviction. “We’ll also have some fun opportunities for audiences to learn more about astronomy from the Kalamazoo Astronomical Society—you might even get to pet a telescope or two. On top of that, the KAS will be showing off some of their astrophotos before the show.”

Your stars for the weekend will be Bannon “Big Bang” Backhus, Brian “Black Hole” Duguay, John “Bon Jovian” Kasdorf, Dann “The Dipper” Sytsma and Tara “The Terrestrial” Sytsma.

The performances will take place in the Judy K. Jolliffe Theatre, in downtown Kalamazoo’s arts hub, the Epic Center, located at 359 S. Kalamazoo Mall, on March 17 and 18. The shows will start at 8 pm, with seating beginning at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $13, $10 for students. Alcohol available in the lobby before the show and at intermission.
