Crawlspace Eviction Improv Show

Crawlspace Eviction Improv Show

Presented by Crawlspace Theatre Productions at Judy K. Jolliffe Theatre (formerly Epic Theatre)

It's time for 'readin' and 'ritin' and 'rithmetic, but it's also time for chuckles, chortles and crack ups! Celebrate the start of Crawlspace Eviction's 14th season September 23 & 24 with the troupe's upcoming shows, CHEM. In addition to overflowing test tubes of improv and sketch comedy, CHEM will also offer plenty of extra credit.

"We're excited to be sharing the stage with Chemical Kim," says Dann Sytsma, director of Crawlspace Eviction. "You might have seen her regular segments on WZZM. She is a professor at KVCC, and she'll be dazzling our audiences with her demonstrations of chemical wizardry."

And for snack time, leave the graham crackers and milk at home. On hand to offer beer and wine will be the Black Arts and Cultural Center, in addition to Pop City Popcorn, offering their gourmet treats.

As always, your Comedy College instructors will include Bannon "The Beaker Buster" Backhus, Brian "The Bookworm" Duguay, John "The Janitor" Kasdorf, Dann "Da Dictionary" Sytsma and Tara "The Tesla Coil" Sytsma.

The performances will take place in Epic Theatre, in downtown Kalamazoo's arts hub, the Epic Center, located at 359 S. Kalamazoo Mall, on September 23 & 24. The shows will start at 8 pm, with seating beginning at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $10, $8 for students. For tickets and more information, visit www.crawlspacetheatre.com.
