Brought together by Music Accord’s commission of the extraordinary composer Joseph Hallman, long-time recital partners Inon Barnatan and Alisa Weilerstein join forces with the clarinet virtuoso Anthony McGill for a thrilling evening of clarinet trios.
A REMARKABLE TRIO
Inon Barnatan is a true poet of the keyboard: refined, searching, and unfailingly communicative. Cellist Alisa Weilerstein’s passion, commitment and breathtaking technique combined with undeniable musicianship make her one of today’s most exciting artists.
Joining Barnatan and Weilerstein is Anthony McGill, Principal Clarinet in the New York Philharmonic. McGill previously served as Principal Clarinet of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra is widely recognized as one of the world’s finest solo, chamber, and orchestral musicians.
