It's garage sale season, and Kalamazoo's own gently used troupe of improvisers, Crawlspace Eviction, is ending our 2015-2016 season June 24 & 25 with an event like no other: Cheap Laughs. Cheap Laughs will combine not only our usual 90 minute improv and sketch comedy people have come to expect but also that most sacred of American traditions--the garage sale.

Anybody that purchases a show ticket online at CrawlspaceTheatre.com may then reserve three feet of table space in the Epic Theater to display and sell any item or items before the show and at intermission. Just write a note to dann@crawlspacetheatre.com saying you want to sell. Space will be limited, so sign up now. We encourage sellers to bring stuff unusual and fun to sell. Sellers are encouraged to donate a portion of their proceeds to the Greater Kalamazoo Arts Council.

The performers ready to bring a great deal of laughs include Bannon "Bargain Basement" Backhus, Brian "Or Best Offer" Duguay, John “Cash is King” Kasdorf, Tara "Tightfisted" Sytsma and Dann "Dirt Cheap" Sytsma.

The performances will take place in the Epic Theatre, in downtown Kalamazoo's arts hub, the Epic Center, located at 359 S. Kalamazoo Mall, on June 24 & 25. The show will start at 8 pm, and the garage sale will start at 7 pm in the theater. Tickets are just $10, $7 for students.
